Pawz the Calming Pup is a light-up companion that can help children to focus calm down manage their emotions and cultivate mindfulness. Pawz is programmed with two different modes: Night-light Mode and Mindfulness Mode. You can control the mode by using the three-position power switch on the base. When set to Mindfulness Mode Pawz guides children through 3 different breathing patterns. Children breathe in as the light glows brighter and exhale as the light fades. Try holding Pawz while practising the breathing activities for an additional sensory experience. The soft squishy material can help support a calming practice in moments of high stress and anxiety. Then when children are upset or over-stimulated they can choose the breathing activity they like best to help restore their equilibrium. Pawz can also be used as a night light for children too young to do the breathing patterns.
